Why Did They Leave? is an Interactive Fiction in the perspective of a deputy sheriff who must discover information about a couple who has left town without notifying anybody. Two women, a best friend and a mother, report the situation but each of them present different stories. With each woman having a different reason to believe why the couple left, it is up to the deputy sheriff to decide, based on the information they have gathered, which story explains the truth about why the couple left?
